Ingo Swann, Aliens, The Military, and Remote Viewing if you know YOU KNOW but if you don’t this is something you surely should find interesting.  If you are someone that finds things like the paranormal, parapsychology, and what is really happening in the world to be your cup of tea then please keep reading.

So Ingo Swann (RIP) was an American psychic, artist, and author who gained fame in the 1970s and 1980s for his work in the field of remote viewing.

Remote viewing (RV), which you can read about in several other posts on this website, is the practice of using extrasensory perception (ESP) to gather information about a distant or unseen target, such as a person, place, or object.

Swann’s work in remote viewing brought him into contact with a number of different organizations, including the United States military and intelligence agencies, as well as individuals who claimed to have had contact with extraterrestrial beings.

Swann’s work with these groups and individuals has led to speculation and controversy surrounding his life and work.

This, I will let you decide about for yourself but whatever way let’s take a look at the life of Ingo Swann,  his work, and the incredible cases of remote viewing that he was involved in.

The Fascinating Case of Ingo Swann, Aliens, The Military, and Remote Viewing

So let’s start here.  Despite the controversy surrounding Swann’s claims, there is no denying that he was a talented remote viewer.  During his lifetime Swann authored a number of best-selling books, including;

  • “To Kiss the Earth Goodbye”
  • “Starfire”
  • “Reality Boxes: And Other Black Holes in Human Consciousness”
and “Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy,”

    Amongst others…

With each, both fictional and non-fictional works, exploring Swann’s experiences and theories about remote viewing and psychic abilities.

You can find these books on eBay and I’m sure on other websites too.

I haven’t personally read any of them but let me know if you have and what the best one is in the comments at the end.

Anyway, so Ingo Swann’s work has undoubtedly had a lasting impact on the field of remote viewing.  His techniques and methods continue to be studied and used by practitioners all across the world,  and whether or not his out-of-this-world claims about government programs and extraterrestrials are true, well, STILL his legacy as a pioneer in the field of remote viewing is undeniable.

Exactly why I will look to cover as much of this information as possible.  Hopefully, you will find it as fascinating as I do but how about Remote Viewing?

I know not everyone reading this post will know about this so quickly let’s just briefly discuss this…

The Origins of Remote Viewing:

A brief history of how remote viewing became a popular practice in the 20th century, including the influence of parapsychology and government interest in psychic phenomena.

The practice of Remote Viewing is nothing new.  Native Americans it appears have practiced this technique for centuries but in the modern age, RV was popularized as a means of psychic exploration in the first half of the 20th century.

The first documented accounts of remote viewing can be traced back to the 1920s when J.B. Rhine, a psychologist at Duke University, conducted experiments to test extrasensory perception (ESP).

These experiments involved subjects attempting to guess the contents of cards hidden from view.  Not exactly the same as today’s concept of RV but one could argue this was where it all started.

Ingo Swann comes into the picture from the 1970s onwards, with the help of Harold Puthoff the coordinate remote viewing technique was developed and used to investigate a variety of targets, including the planet Jupiter and a secret military base in the Soviet Union, and apparently a secret base on the dark side of the moon.

These experiments caught the attention of the United States government and In 1978, the Stargate Project was started to investigate the potential military applications of remote viewing.

Over the next two decades, the project employed a team of psychic spies who used remote viewing to gather information about a variety of targets, including foreign countries, terrorist organizations, and drug cartels.

However, despite their interest in remote viewing, the practice remained controversial and was apparently met with skepticism from mainstream scientists.   Furthermore, In 1995, the CIA released a report stating that remote viewing had not been proven to be a reliable intelligence-gathering tool.   But whether this is really true is certainly questionable.

It surely would not be too farfetched to believe that this still goes on in secret but who really knows?

But anyway, now let’s continue.

Ingo Swann’s Life and Career

Ingo Swann was born on September 14, 1933, in Telluride, Colorado.  He spent his childhood in a rural area of New Jersey and attended Trenton State College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and art.

After college, Swann worked as an artist and designer in New York City.  In the 1960s, he became interested in psychic phenomena and began to explore his own psychic abilities.

He became a member of the American Society for Psychical Research (ASPR) and participated in experiments testing extrasensory perception (ESP).

In the early 1970s, Swann met Harold Puthoff, a physicist who was also interested in psychic phenomena.  Together, they developed a protocol for remote viewing, which they called “coordinate remote viewing.”

This technique involved using a set of coordinates to focus the viewer’s attention on a specific target, which could be anything from a physical location to a person or object.

Swann and Puthoff conducted a series of experiments using their remote viewing protocol and achieved impressive results. In 1977, they published a paper on their work in the prestigious journal “Nature,” which brought remote viewing to the attention of the wider scientific community.

Swann continued to work as a remote viewer and researcher throughout the 1980s and 1990s. He wrote several books on his experiences, including “To Kiss Earth Goodbye” and “Penetration,” in which he claimed to have remotely viewed secret military installations and extraterrestrial phenomena.

In addition to his work in remote viewing, Swann was also a talented artist and writer. He created a series of abstract paintings inspired by his experiences with psychic phenomena and wrote several works of fiction, including the novel “Star Fire” and the short story collection “The Wisdom Category.”

Swann passed away on January 31, 2013, at the age of 79. He left behind a legacy as a pioneering researcher and explorer of consciousness, whose work in remote viewing helped to expand our understanding of the human mind and its potential.

The Stargate Project

One of Swann’s most well-known claims was that he had been involved in a program run by the United States military and intelligence agencies known as the Stargate Project.  The Stargate Project was a secret program that ran from 1978 to 1995 and was designed to investigate the potential military applications of remote viewing.

According to Swann, he was one of the individuals involved in the program and helped to develop the techniques used in remote viewing.  He claimed that the program was successful in gathering information about a number of different targets, including Soviet military installations and hostages in Iran.

Swann also claimed that he had been involved in other programs run by the military and intelligence agencies, including one focused on the study of extraterrestrial beings.  He claimed that he had been brought in to help communicate with these beings using his psychic abilities.

These claims have led to speculation that Swann was involved in secret government programs aimed at investigating the possibility of extraterrestrial life.  However, there is little concrete evidence to support these claims, and some have dismissed them as the fantasies of a creative mind.

I will let you be the judge but let’s explore this further

Ingo Swann and Extraterrestrial Contact

According to Swann, he had numerous extraterrestrial experiences, including telepathic communications, visitations, and even physical contact with extraterrestrial beings.

One of the most significant extraterrestrial experiences Swann reported was his encounter with a group of non-human entities on the dark side of the moon.

In his book, “Penetration: The Question of Extraterrestrial and Human Telepathy,” Swann described how he was taken to the moon by the entities and shown various extraterrestrial installations and bases. He claimed to have witnessed advanced technology and witnessed activities that suggested an extraterrestrial presence on the moon.

Swann’s claims of extraterrestrial experiences on the dark side of the moon have sparked much curiosity and fascination among believers and skeptics alike.  Some have pointed out that the dark side of the moon is always facing away from the Earth, making it an ideal location for extraterrestrial activity undetected by humans.

Moreover, Swann’s descriptions of advanced extraterrestrial technology and installations on the moon have led some to speculate that the moon could be a strategic location for extraterrestrial operations.  In fact, many researchers have suggested that the moon could be used as a base for further exploration of the solar system and beyond.
