Recently (actually 4 years ago per this update), I was listening to the radio, and something I heard made me take notice – The Law of Attraction Scientific Proof !! They was talking about an article published in the Daily Mail (A British Newspaper which I’m sure people from the UK like myself would have heard of) and the main topic was the Mainifestation/LoA.

This was primarily due to this new book that was coming out on that Friday (if my memory serves me correct) and this book was by Neurologist Dr. Tara Swart. I am not sure if Dr. Swart has released any other books since but anyway this book titled the Source claims to prove the real life existence of LoA (The Law of Attraction).

What instantly got my attention because of some of the Information I had recently read about myself.  In fact, the first post I wrote here on SecretGardenofMind.com (back when it was meditation24x7.com) this radio show really made me think about.

So Sleep Mediation (through binaural beats) and Brain Wave Entrainment can reprogram your brain to positively manifest good things, into your life.  I shall write about this more throughout this article, but for now, I just want to share a couple of things quickly.

#1 Firstly a link for this product called Manifestation Magic. Find out more ~~>(HERE!)<~~ AND

#2 Secondly a video by the author of this book Dr. Tara Swart on YouTube about her book and How the Law of Attraction Works.

Now, let’s continue…

The Law of Attraction Scientific Proof! – Dr. Tara Swart

The Law of Attraction is exactly what it says on the box – that both negative, and positive feelings, and situations are the result of a kind of universal power. For example, to create a negative situation it will stem from negative thoughts and for the positive – vice versa.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.  The actual truth is that ugliness or beauty is not in the eyes of the ugly or beautiful person, because the only person that sees how beautiful or ugly something appears is the beholder.

To the onlooker what they will see is an impression.  If you feel ugly and distant than the observer will not feel so compelled towards you.

Or If you like, that is against the Law of Attraction.  But If you feel confident and beautiful than the onlooker will be attracted to your positive energy.  That is the difference.

Going further if your actively creating the impression that you can’t make money, it will be less likely to happen.  Same as if you crave friendship, or a romantic relationship – if you focus your attention on those things enough, in a positive way then they will be more likely to happen as a result.

But, of course, there is a mystical aspect.  The whole part about a kind of negative residue that gets left on a person’s psyche from a bad experience is only something that can be cleansed spiritually.

Through a good nights sleep or Meditation perhaps.  Both of these can help your brain achieve a Theta Healing state.  The Law of Attraction can work as a magnet for positive things once you have developed positive thinking by cleansing your spirit of this negative energy.

How LoA is Seemingly Provable By Dr. Tara Swart

Dr. Tara Swart, a neuroscientist, psychiatrist, and leadership coach, often discusses the concept of the Law of Attraction (LoA) from a scientific perspective. While the LoA is typically associated with metaphysical or spiritual beliefs, Dr. Swart approaches it through the lens of neuroscience and psychology, attempting to provide scientific explanations for its mechanisms.

One aspect Dr. Swart emphasizes is the power of the subconscious mind. She argues that our thoughts and beliefs influence our subconscious, which in turn affects our actions and behaviours. So, through practices such as Visualization and Positive Affirmations, individuals can reprogram their subconscious to align with their goals and desires, thus attracting corresponding outcomes into their lives.

Additionally, Dr. Swart explores the role of the reticular activating system (RAS) in the brain. The RAS acts as a filter for incoming sensory information, prioritizing what it deems relevant based on our beliefs and expectations.

The Role of the RAS In Manifesting Our Reality

According to Dr. Swart, by focusing our attention on our goals and desires, we can effectively “train” the RAS to recognize opportunities and resources that support those goals, leading to their manifestation in our lives.

While Dr. Swart’s approach provides a scientific framework for understanding the LoA, it’s important to note that her perspective may not fully satisfy those seeking empirical evidence or adhere strictly to traditional scientific methodologies.

The LoA remains a topic of debate within the scientific community, with some researchers suggesting that its effects may be attributed to psychological factors such as self-confidence and motivation rather than any inherent metaphysical principles.

But on the Contrary

One thing that Dr. Tara Swart say’s is that actual brain scans can show things like trauma and the brain activity during meditative states.  She states that through neuroscience we can see how different psychological processes can actually happen.

Although with the Law of Attraction It might be hard to really see how it works on paper.  Manifestation still needs to be summoned.  It’s like Aladdin if he never rubbed the magic lamp but you could certainly document your results from practicing Manifestation/the LoA.

Get the Fruit When the Pickings Good

So the Law of Attraction for me I thought this article about Dr. Swart and the Source is a pretty good read.

Dr. Tara Swart – the law of attraction DOES exist: Neuroscientist reveals the six steps to training your brain to manifest success – including ‘believing’ you’re wealthy no matter how little you have”.

This doesn’t even need scientific proof.  I know that the clothes on my back, the clean(ish) water through my tap, and the nearby shops are a luxury.  The thing I don’t tell myself is how lucky I am.  Because I could have a lot less – I could live in a desert, and be searching for the food and drink that keeps me and my family alive.

Or I could live rough on the streets and have to sleep outside in the cold.  It’s still the same.

The Law of Attraction is mostly about positive thinking.  It’s about focusing on the good things that you have and positively manifesting the things you want.  Wherever you are – it’s a universal thing.  Imagine being the Statue of Liberty – in the land of opportunity that is New York City.

You are in the right place to make amazing things happen.  Business deals, partnerships, and exciting experiences but you just stand there still and do nothing about it.  Imagine doing that as a living breathing person.  Activity is the key.  Chances are more common than the air we breathe but you still need to take the chance before it can be there.

This is my best effort at describing the Law of Attraction.  I did actually write another post similar about the mind being a garden… that is kind of along the same lines but back to the post at hand.

What are the Six LoA Principles of Dr. Tara Swart?

The Source by Dr. Tara Swart Book about the law of attraction

In the pursuit of understanding and harnessing the Law of Attraction (LoA), it’s essential to delve into the foundational principles that underpin this universal phenomenon. Dr. Tara Swart, offers a compelling framework comprising six key principles that illuminate the workings of the LoA and guides individuals in their journey towards manifesting their desires.

These Include;

  1. Abundance: At the core of the LoA lies the principle of abundance. It’s about recognizing and embracing the inherent richness and abundance of the universe. Abundance encompasses not only material wealth but also encompasses emotional well-being, meaningful relationships, and personal fulfilment. By acknowledging the abundance that surrounds us, we open ourselves to receive all that we need to thrive.
  2. Manifestation: Central to the LoA is the belief in our innate ability to manifest our desires into reality. Manifestation is more than just wishful thinking; it’s a profound conviction that we have the power to shape our lives according to our intentions. Through focused thought, intention, and action, we can bring forth our aspirations from the realm of possibility into a tangible existence.
  3. Magnetic Desire: Dr. Swart emphasizes the importance of cultivating a magnetic desire—an intense longing for our heart’s deepest desires. This fervent desire acts as a magnetic force, drawing towards us the people, opportunities, and resources that align with our aspirations. When our desires are infused with passion and purpose, they gain momentum, propelling us towards their realization.
  4. Patience: Patience is a virtue that is integral to the LoA journey. While we may set intentions and take inspired action, the timing of their manifestation is often beyond our control. Patience entails trusting in the natural unfolding of events, knowing that the universe operates according to its own rhythm and timeline. It requires us to remain steadfast in our belief, even in the face of apparent delays or setbacks, knowing that our destiny is gradually taking shape.
  5. Harmony: True fulfillment arises from a state of inner harmony and contentment. Dr. Swart emphasizes the importance of finding joy and satisfaction in the present moment, appreciating the blessings that already grace our lives. When we cultivate a mindset of gratitude and contentment, we align ourselves with the vibrational frequency of abundance, attracting more blessings into our lives.
  6. Universal Connection: At the heart of the LoA lies the recognition of our interconnectedness with the universe. Dr. Swart metaphorically describes this connection as being “hooked up to the main server,” tapping into the infinite wellspring of wisdom, creativity, and abundance that permeates the cosmos.

Through mindfulness, meditation, and introspection, we can deepen our connection to this universal consciousness, accessing insights and guidance that propel us towards our highest potential.

Incorporating these six principles into our daily lives empowers us to harness the transformative power of the Law of Attraction. By aligning our thoughts, beliefs, and actions with these guiding principles, we pave the way for the manifestation of our deepest desires and aspirations, ushering in a life of abundance, fulfilment, and joy.

Advice For Practicing the LoA At Home

Understanding the principles of the Law of Attraction (LoA) is just the beginning – BUT putting them into practice is where the real magic starts to happen. Dr. Tara Swart advocates for a holistic approach to incorporating the LoA into our daily lives, emphasizing the importance of consistency, intentionality, and mindfulness.

Some practical strategies to help you harness the power of the LoA Include all the following:

  1. Clarify Your Intentions: Begin by clearly defining your goals and desires. What do you want to manifest in your life? Whether it’s a fulfilling career, loving relationships, vibrant health, or financial abundance, be specific about what you wish to attract. Write down your intentions in a journal or create a vision board to visualize them clearly.
  2. Cultivate Positive Beliefs: Your beliefs shape your reality, so it’s essential to cultivate a mindset of positivity and possibility. Challenge limiting beliefs that hold you back and replace them with empowering thoughts that align with your goals. Affirmations can be a powerful tool for reprogramming your subconscious mind and reinforcing positive beliefs.
  3. Practice Visualization: Visualization is a potent technique for activating the LoA. Set aside time each day to visualize yourself already living your desired reality. Engage all your senses and immerse yourself in the experience as if it were happening in the present moment. The more vividly you can imagine your desired outcomes, the more effectively you’ll signal to the universe your intentions.
  4. Express Gratitude: Cultivating an attitude of gratitude is essential for amplifying the effects of the LoA. Take time each day to express gratitude for the blessings in your life, both big and small. Gratitude shifts your focus from scarcity to abundance, attracting more reasons to be thankful into your life.

Consider keeping a gratitude journal to record daily moments of appreciation.
  5. Take Inspired Action!: While the LoA emphasizes the power of intention and visualization, it’s also crucial to take inspired action towards your goals. Pay attention to intuitive nudges and opportunities that arise, and be willing to step out of your comfort zone.

Action is the bridge between Visualization and Manifestation, so seize every opportunity to move closer to your dreams.
  6. Practice Self-Care: VERY IMPORTANT Nurturing your physical, mental, and emotional well-being is vital for maintaining alignment with the LoA. Make self-care a priority by engaging in activities that replenish your energy and uplift your spirits. Maintain adequate personal hygiene, eat the right food, make sure you sleep well, get outside, possibly do some exercise, practice meditation, creative expression, and spending time with nature.

Ultimately, prioritize activities that nourish your soul and support your overall well-being.
  7. Stay Open and Receptive: Finally, remain open and receptive to the abundant possibilities that the universe has in store for you. Let go of attachment to specific outcomes and trust in the divine timing of the universe. Stay present in the moment, and be mindful of the signs, synchronicities, and opportunities that present themselves along your journey.

By incorporating these practices into your daily life, you can cultivate a deeper connection with the Law of Attraction and unlock its transformative power to manifest your dreams into reality.

Remember, the key lies in consistency, persistence, and unwavering faith in the limitless potential of your own consciousness.

In Conclusion

In Dr. Tara Swarts Book The Source – Here An Expert has Revealed how Six Simple Principles can combine Science and Positive Thinking to Help Achieve your Goals towards the finer things in life.  Based on Neuroplasticity –  the brain’s ability to change itself during adulthood we can change our thought patterns.  To think the right thoughts to Manifest Positive Outcomes.

To me, it’s kind of like if we are focused on a task for long enough.  Somehow no matter how long it takes the task will be completed.  And in this sense I like to think that the LOA is bang on the money.

It isn’t even some leftfield, out of this world babble it’s common sense.  Try it to be positive about your life for 2 weeks, see what happens and maybe try pay attention to the opposite scenario just to prove this point.

So I’m with Dr. Swart on this one – the Law of Attraction is definitely real and you can try this for yourself.

  1. Thank you,
I really am impressed and appreciate you explaining the low of attraction in simple words, I have seen this low of attraction online quite often but I never knew what it was until I read your article that explains it so well

    Jeff

    1. Thank You Jeff Only really learned about it this year. Glad you liked it.

  2. Great post! I will certainly be giving this a try for the next two weeks and I’ll let you know what happens:)

    1. Hi Tara, Really that is great to hear if there is anything I can help with let me know. What about the book – will you be buying it? Looks fantastic. I will be ordering my copy soon I think.

  3. Hi, I loved reading this. I’m massively into LOA, read the books, watch the videos, but in the past I have got quite stuck applying it. I really liked what you said about patience and how if we’re focused on a task long enough, it will eventually get finished. I’ll remember that.

I really struggle to be positive ALL the time but two weeks, that sounds a lot more doable, so I think I’ll start with that. Thanks for all the tips. I’m bookmarking this page for sure! That way when I get stuck I can reread it 🙂

  4. I really enjoyed this well written article. I’m a great believer in law of attraction, and the power to manifest. I agree that changing your thoughts can make a big difference to any outcome. “The Source” sounds very interesting, and I’ll look out for the book on it’s release date.

    1. Hi Kathy, Yes you can check the link I think it might be out or at least for preorder but I think it is the 14th of this month it’s released.

  5. I read the book “The Secret” some time ago. Your “Law of Attraction” theory seems to be based on much the same principals but with a slight difference.
It certainly explains just why some things in life turn out the way they do, regardless of what many believe.
You’ve made me rethink whether I should be applying these principles to my own life.
Do you think there’s any aspect of life that can’t be helped with this sort of positive affirmations?

    1. Yes absolutely.  Positivity breeds positivity and negativity breeds negativity.  I will give you an example – I need to take a shower and have a tidy up around my flat.  If I do this I will feel better and more positive and because of this it will open the door for more positive things to happen but let’s say I don’t I will feel sluggish unfocused and it will affect my writing in a negative way.  Let’s say I write a sloppy article and people think I’m not reading anything of this guy’s again.  It’s negativity breeding itself.  Remember positivity is always there but it’s like fruit on a tree you still have to pick it.

  6. This a great article. I am a believer in The Law of Attraction story. It’s amazing how if you just think positive instead of negative how everything seems to go better, you feel awesome and your worries are gone.I really like your idea for people to try for 2 weeks to think and be positive. Heck just reading your post got me thinking more positive and I am feeling great. Please continue writing these great articles the world needs more positive than the negative. Peace

    1. Hi Zach,  Thanks that means a lot to me that I’m spreading a positive message.  I will keep working on this I guess.  I didn’t do too badly last month so will see how the rest of the month goes.

  7. Evagreene says:

Wow😍 what an amazing article on attraction from you bro. I enjoy every bit of your article I’ve gone through. Great job you’re doing right here!

Well Dr, Swart’s principles to me, it’s not just principles but reality. The 5th principle which talked Harmony is completely my experience. Nice article man!

    1. Thank you Evergreene,  It is great to have you.

  8. I’m glad to find that the message of well-being and achievements through the law of attraction is spreading very far and wide. This book by Dr. Tara Swart appears to be taking a deeper dive into the process of how it works and to be honest, I’m not surprised. With the backing of science, perhaps more people can key into this irrefutable power. Thanks

    1. Yes, let’s hope so.  I think this book could be a game-changer.  As soon as I heard about it I must have had to rewind what I was listening to 3 times until I could find a pen to write her name down.

  9. I have been a fan of Law of Attraction. Even though it was not then scientifically proof, I believe in it. Think and Grow Rich has introduced me to this concept. Thank you so much for your review on The Source. I will have to check out more on what she meant by 6 principles, it is always goof to know that my believe is backing up by something.

    1. Hi Nuttanee,  the 6 Principles are a concept created by Dr. Swart herself to explain her ideas better.  I think with the actual Law of Attraction there are 12 Laws altogether.  You can maybe find out more from the book.  I think I will order myself when it’s released on Valentine’s Day.  I’m very intrigued to see what else she has to say.

  10. This is an interesting approach. I’m a bit skeptical and although I don’t fully believe in the law of attraction, because I believe that there are other elements to consider, what the law of attraction presents (concerning thinking positively and having patience) does truly help us archive goals. Thank you for presenting Dr. Swarts’ scientific approach. Useful post and it has left me thinking.

    1. Thank you, my friend, I appreciate it.

  11. Hi, Just want to ask a question, does the law of attractions only works on the type of energy you put in the universe?

The reason for my question is that i know some people can send bad or good energy towards a person, and can they use that energy to destroy a person life. i am a deep thinker and a strong believer when it comes to positive energy.

My experience with your topic, I have to tell my self every day that i can achieve whatever i put my mind to do, i know that this philosophies and mind prepares you for what you are asking the consciousness server.

This is a great article full of information, It is good for everyone to know how the universe work and what it can do for your soul.

I shall be sending my friends over to read Dr Tara Swart Neurologis called The Source. I will be purchasing this  book for my self to get the some isight on Law Of Attraction.

    great work

    best wishes

    Tyrese

    1. I would say in theory yes.  It is the energy you put out that attracts other energy.  It’s like the saying the devil recognizes his own kind.  This is because of the law of attraction, or good things come to those who wait.  Patience is a good thing because you are giving people the time they need.  This is an example of how positivity would attract more positivity.  I mean, to be honest, I’m no spiritual leader or anything but people generally get what’s coming to them.  It’s karma if you like – about the book if you buy could you buy through my page?  It is just to keep amazon happy they’ve been known to close accounts that don’t make any sales.  I won’t make much but is just to keep them sweet.

  12. Love this – I found it very interesting how you mentioned being positive for one week, then try the opposite the next. I did this before I read your article and do notice how different everything is!

The more I pay attention to these things, they seem to magically present themselves as if I had summoned them with a spell! Makes sense why one of the first things we are taught as children is how to “Spell” 😉

    1. Never thought of it like this but yes is an interesting way of thinking of it. Have you ever heard of Jordan Maxwell before? This reminds of something he would say. I have read up a bit about etymology before (the study of words) An interesting idea this learning how to spell!

  13. Interesting I was thinking that it’s not just the law of attraction but, the law of taking action as well. If you don’t send out your signal how will anyone know you are anywhere?

    1. Yes my thoughts exactly.

  14. fintan duggan says:

    Hi Alex,

Well done on writing this post about the law of attraction scientific proof, I enjoyed reading it. I believe that if you think enough about good things happening to you then good things will happen., would you agree?  I go along with the assertion that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, just the same as if you believe that you are beautiful people will be attracted to you. Doctor Stewart does a good job of how to visualize success so much that it happens for you, on the other hand if you can’t see success then you may not ever make it.

Would you agree that success takes patience, time and the universe needs to be on your favour?

Your post is one that I will share with others that desire success.

    All the best,

    Fintan

    1. Alex Chivers says:

Hi Fintan,  Yes I do agree with you.  It is Dr. Swart her name.  The book is really interesting as it goes into detail about how through neuroscience that the law of attraction has a foundation of truth about it.  As for your question success does take time and patience you are right.  Resilience is important and taking the positives from things to keep you going.  You have to believe in yourself basically exactly what the law of attraction is.

  15. Thank you for sharing the informative article about The Law of Attraction Scientific Proof!. l agree that changing your thoughts can make a big difference to any outcome. I like the way you explaining the low of attraction in simple words that is understood by everyone. I have seen low of attraction online but I never knew what it was until I read this interesting article that explains it so well. I really like your idea for people to try for 2 weeks to think and be positive. l want to try it as two weeks in nothing and l will share my experience with you. l will consider buying the book. I have bookmarked your article so that l can go back again. Great post.

Stay blessed and keep on helping others to stay positive!

    1. Alex Chivers says:

Thank you for Fiona,  It can make such a big difference.  A good example of it is the saying tidy house, tidy mind.  Bringing about positive thinking from positive actions.  I’m glad I come back to this post it is one of my favorites and the book I think is great if you like to read.  Very insightful.
